Zonta offers local, regional and international scholarships for women, demonstrating our commitment for equal access to education.

Phyllis George Memorial Scholarship

Past President and head of many committees, Phyllis had been a Zonta member for 30 years when she passed away in 1993.  Together with Zonta, her family established this memorial scholarship at Rogue Community College in her honor.

Grants Pass Zonta Foundation

Established in 2016 by the Zonta Foundation and Zonta Club of Grants Pass, this scholarship honors past Zontians who died while active members of the Zonta Club of Grants Pass.  It is awarded to a graduating female student of academic promise who plans to major in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) related field at a two or four year accredited college, university, or technical school of the applicant’s choice.

Amelia Earhart Fellowship

Zonta International offers Amelia Earhart Fellowships to women pursuing PhD degrees in aerospace related fields.  To apply, download the form from the Zonta International site and submit as instructed.

Jane M Klausman Women in Business Scholarship

Established in 1998 at the bequest of JMK, a member of the Zonta Club of Syracuse, New York and 1990-1995 Zonta International Parliamentarian.  Designed to encourage undergraduate women to enter careers and seek leadership positions in business-related fields, this scholarship aims to increase the number of women in executive positions in business management.

This scholarship operates at club, district, and international levels and has awarded 175 scholarships to 142 women representing 39 countries.

Young Women in Public Affairs

Recognizes young women, ages 16-19, who demonstrate superior leadership skills and a commitment to public service and civic causes, and encourages them to continue their participation in public and political life.
